To book a stall at SLF 2026, apply through the Book a stall form on the festival website or email [email protected]. Space at Mohatta Palace Museum is limited and stalls are given first come, first served, in the order bookings are confirmed.
The festival runs on 21–22 November 2026 in Clifton, Karachi. Stalls stay open across both days, where visitors buy books in Sindhi, Urdu and English, handmade crafts from across Sindh and food between sessions.
What kinds of stalls are there?
There are four categories for 2026:
- Book stalls for publishers and booksellers: new titles, reprints and magazines.
- Cultural stalls for artisans: ajrak, rilli, embroidery, pottery and other handmade work.
- Food stalls for local dishes and snacks.
- Brand, bank and institution stalls for organisations that want to meet visitors and raise awareness of their work.
How booking works
- Fill in the Book a stall form on the festival website, or email [email protected] with your organisation's name, your stall type and what you'll sell.
- The stalls team replies with the fee for your stall type and the festival's bank details.
- Deposit the stall fee and email the payment receipt to [email protected], with your organisation's name.
- The team confirms your stall and shares set-up details and placement.
Your place is held once payment is confirmed. Because allocation is first come, first served, booking early gives you a better chance of getting a spot.
Pay only into the official account
The festival's bank details do not change. If anyone calls or messages asking you to pay into a different account, don't send anything. Check with the festival first at [email protected].
Who should book a stall?
Publishers launching books at the festival, independent booksellers, artisans and craft groups from across Sindh, home kitchens and food businesses, and banks, brands or institutions that want to reach a young, education-focused audience.
